In Part 3 of The Mission Mission project I start off with the 19th Mission built. The Santa Ines Mission is located in the beautiful Santa Ines Valley in the town of Santa Ines. The Mission itself is fairly plain but had a good museum and nice courtyard. Next up is the 11th Mission to be built La Purisma Conception which is located just outside of Lompoc.This is one of the better restored/developed Missions. This is probably due to the fact that it is actually a State Park so there are funds other than private donations available for development. Extensive displays in multiple buildings on huge grounds makes for a lot to see. I finish up this part with a couple photos from San Luis Obispo de Tolsa, the 5th Mission built. Unfortunately I passed this Mission twice on this part of the trip and both times where right around closing time. I did have time to explore the grounds and inside the church though there was not too much to see. According to the literature they have one of the better Museums but it was closed or just getting ready to close both times. Hopefully I'll be in that neck of the woods sometime in the future and can get to the Museum.
